Elizabeth (Beth) Yontz

  Beth grew up in the horse business riding many different disciplines over the years. It wasn't until she started working for Schare Adams of Saga Farm  in 2003 where she grew a love for Standardbreds. After getting her first broodmare, Dancewiththebest,  she knew she was hooked.
  After six years at Saga Farm she took the yearling manager job at Walnut Hall Ltd,. raising and prepping many star athletes for Mr. Leavitt.
  In January of 2015 Doug and Beth purchased 50 acres and established Anvil and Lace Farm. 
  Beth is the breeder of Dancin Yankee, who has won multiple awards including: Two Year Old Pacing Colt of the Year in Ohio and four time winner of Aged Pacer of the year in Ohio along with being a world record holder. 

2014 Anvil and Lace sold the highest priced Sportswriter filly, Dancin In the Nude.

2015 Anvil and Lace sold the Ohio Selected Yearling sale topper Dancin Rebel.

Douglas (Doug) Yontz
(Co-Owner)

  Doug not only is co-owner of Anvil and Lace Farm but also operates Yontz Farrier Service . He provides hoof care to select breeding farms in central Kentucky.
  He is a Certified Farrier with the American Farriers Association. Doug specializes in foal and yearling maintenance for optimum conformation and hoof health from birth, to sale ring and beyond.
